Two unknown persons on a motorcycle shot a young man who was standing near the road with a firearm.
A 20-year-old resident of Colombo 12 died while being admitted to the Colombo National Hospital due to gunshot wounds.
The shooters have fled and further investigations are underway to arrest them.
