This evening, Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage denied the Colombo Police’s request for a restraining order against a protest organised by a group of Peratugami Party members in front of the Fort railway station.
In the case of any act that violates public order, the magistrate also ordered the police to act in accordance with the powers delegated to them.
