According to reports, Bangladesh has requested a 4.5 billion US dollar loan from the International Monetary Fund to help the country recover from its financial crisis.
Bangladesh’s foreign reserves are said to be rapidly depleting at the moment.
The International Monetary Fund will send a delegation to Bangladesh in September to discuss the loan.
According to the country’s economic experts, Sri Lanka suffered a significant loss as a result of the delay in approaching the International Monetary Fund, and Bangladesh did not allow that mistake to occur.
