Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition, stated that the government led by the president has given up on working together to build a better country. He does not, however, believe in using politics for personal gain and will not join the government. Instead, he will use his position in the opposition to help build the country.
According to the opposition leader, the government is now telling strange stories about citizens who fought for freedom in democracy, and that the violence began during Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa’s farewell “Araliyagaha mandiraya operation.”
The opposition leader, who has spoken out against violence and arson, also stated that the ninth day was filled with terrorism.
The opposition leader stated that opportunistic political frogs will undoubtedly be forced to pay compensation in the People’s Court and that no one will be able to avoid it.
When the president invited him to embark on a new journey, the opposition leader exposed the government’s working pattern to the country by launching a cowardly attack on Golpac struggle strugglers in the middle of the night while he was thinking more positively about it.
He described it as a heinous act of violence whose devastation could not be approved by any civilised person.
