The fight that was once waged alone for the ‘Mawrata’ is now yielding results. This evening, a list of former Members of Parliament from both the government and opposition, who allegedly received bar licenses from former President Ranil as part of a political deal, will be submitted to Parliament.

Minister Nalinda Jayatissa announced that the names of former Members of Parliament who received liquor licenses as political bribes from former President Ranil Wickremesinghe will be submitted to Parliament this evening.

He made this statement in response to a query raised by MP Shanakyan Rasamanikkam.
