The Independent Party has emerged victorious in the Homagama Cooperative Election, defeating the Compass Party.
Out of the 59 local elections held in the Homagama Cooperative, the Independent Party secured wins in 37 elections. Meanwhile, the Compass Party managed to claim victory in only 17 local elections.
This outcome marks a significant achievement for the Independent Party, highlighting its strong performance in the region.
