Domino’s Pizza Sri Lanka has come on board as the official pizza partner for the upcoming Beach Rugby Carnival 2025, a landmark event celebrating seven decades of rugby excellence at S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia. This prestigious event is organized by the Old Thomians Rugby Football Union (OTRFU), the esteemed alumni rugby organization dedicated to promoting rugby and supporting the Thomian rugby legacy across generations.

Speaking on the partnership, Ruban Ratnasingham, Country Head – Corporate Affairs at Domino’s Sri Lanka, said, “It’s an honour to support an event that not only celebrates a proud rugby legacy but also encourages community spirit and youth engagement. We believe in the power of sport to inspire and bring people together, and are delighted to play a part in creating memorable experiences at the Beach Rugby Carnival 2025.”

Taking place on 24th May 2025 at the vibrant beachfront of Port City Colombo, the event will feature a competitive open beach rugby tournament with over 16 teams, showcasing speed, skill, and sportsmanship on the sand. Adding to the festive spirit will be live music performances by popular local bands, exhilarating water sports, a kids’ play zone, and a wide array of food and beverage stalls—creating a day out for the entire family.

Domino’s involvement in this prestigious event underscores the brand’s commitment not only to delivering great pizza but also to supporting the future of Sri Lankan sports and communities. As the official pizza partner, Domino’s aims to inspire a new generation of athletes and rugby enthusiasts while celebrating a rich sporting heritage that has united generations.
