Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and Samagi Jana Alliance leader, Mr. Sajith Premadasa, has announced key appointments to several influential positions within the party.
As part of these changes, former Member of Parliament (MP) Imtiaz Bakeer Markar has been appointed as the President of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya for 2024. Additionally, former Kegalle District MP Kabir Hashim has been named the General Secretary of the party for the same year. Meanwhile, Gampaha District MP Harshana Rajakaruna has been appointed as the District President of Samagi Jana Balawegaya, effective immediately.
These appointments are seen as significant steps in strengthening the party’s leadership ahead of future political challenges.
