Ramanayake drew a comparison to international standards, pointing out that even India’s renowned filmmaker Satyajit Ray was afforded medical transport services in recognition of his contributions. By referencing this, he argued that Sri Lanka should uphold similar respect for its former leaders, irrespective of current political climates.
