The Tamil National Janatha Peramuna says it will not meet with the President until all struggle activists, including Ceylon Teachers’ Union general secretary Joseph Starling, are freed and the state of emergency is lifted completely.
Mr. Gajendra Kumar Ponnambalam, the leader of that party, stated that the President has been informed.
