The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has ordered notices to be issued to witnesses in seven cases against former State Minister Diana Gamage, who is accused of obtaining a Sri Lankan passport by providing false information and staying in the country without a valid visa.
Colombo Chief Magistrate Thilina Gamage made the order after reviewing a request submitted through a motion by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), which is leading the investigation.
Notices have been issued to the Controller of Immigration and Emigration, or a representative, along with several other individuals listed as witnesses in the case. The hearings are set for the 24th.
