Women from the NPP group gathered in Mathugama town yesterday (10) to stage a protest against organized underworld activities allegedly carried out by opposition groups targeting female government officials and political leaders.
The demonstration, held in Mathugama, was organized to condemn the attack on the Secretary of the Mathugama Pradeshiya Sabha. Addressing the protest, the women stated that they are prepared to deliver a response that will go down in history if such actions by the opposition continue.
