With 80 people attending the COP 28 summit in Dubai, with the President and 8 more parliamentarians Sri Lanka has the highest representation.! I Sri Lanka Latest News

Headed by President Ranil Wickremesinghe, a high-level delegation consisting of about 80 representatives including Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabri, Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera, Minister of Environment Keheliya Rambukwella, Presidential Adviser on Climate Change Ruwan Wijewardena, and four members of parliament will be at the United Nations next week. The Sunday Times has reported that he will leave for Dubai for the Conference of Parties (COP28). Sri Lanka Latest News

The technical delegation includes negotiators and 15 ministry officials.

Private sector organizations are Sri Lanka’s largest-ever group of 20 youth delegates and Sri Lanka’s delegation is reported to be the largest group of climate summit representatives.
