The Inside politics column reliably understand that a serious political conflict has been created in the Free People’s Alliance represented by the helicopter symbol.

The conflict is between the Wimal team and the Dallas team.

During the last few days, serious debates had arisen in the discussions held within the party between the Wimal team and the Dallas team over policy issues.

Gevindu Kumaratunga, representing the nationalist political trend, was also has got involved in these conflict.

Although Wimal, Gevindu and others have expressed their views within the party on a strict nationalistic policy, Dallas and others are in the middle path.

The arguments has gone very serious manner that Wimal, Gevindu and the group has already separated from the helicopter.

It is in this background that a new round of negotiations has started between Wimalla and Rajapaksa, and under this situation, there is a high possibility that Wimall will go to Mahinda once again.

If so, Dallas, GL, representing the helicopter will remain. The Inside politics column understand that  as one group will remain independent and another group will re-align with Pohottuwa.
