A special meeting was held yesterday (07) evening at Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa’s official residence at Wijerama Mawatha in Colombo with the participation of the members of parliament of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.
The party’s former president Mahinda Rajapaksa, Basil Rajapaksa and a group of party seniors have participated in it.
It is reported that views were exchanged at length in the discussion on how the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna should contribute to get rid of the current economic crisis and the next steps in the local government elections.
