During the COPE committee meeting where cricket was discussed, JVP leader Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Mr. Dayasiri Jayasekara severely criticised and threatened him saying how they could declare the COPE committee corrupt, said Mr. Hesha Vithanage, a member of the Sajaba Parliament. The member who said that he informed them that he made the statement because he had the information said that he would not disclose the information due to the minimum morals and said that he implicitly said that the chairman had sold out.

The MP expressed these views while joining the ‘Truth with Chamuditha’ programme.

However, as if by a twist of fate, Mr. Ranjith Bandara’s bias has now been confirmed, the MP said that a question arises as to whether Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Dayasiri Jayasekara worked to protect the honor of the COP committee or to protect Ranjith Bandara.
