In conjunction with the protest scheduled to be held tomorrow (4) in Colombo against the government and the president, a group of athletes started the satyagraha under the theme ‘Where is freedom?’ in front of the Maradana Elphinstone Theater.

Due to the implementation of a water attack for about 30 minutes, the front of the Elphinstone Theater was filled with water and the trenchers were standing there in the middle of the water attack.

After that, the police and police anti-riot teams chased and beat the crowd and removed them from the place and the protesters left the place and gathered at another place.

Before the attack, the police officers came to the place and showed a court order and forced them to leave the place, but there the lawyers and the group court showed court order does not indicate such thing.

It is also reported that after the police left the place, a mob came and attacked Satyagraha. The sources said that after the mob left, the police launched a massive water attack and then chased the crowds and attacked them.
