When the entire opposition joined the parliamentary protest, all three NPP members were absent! They did not attend the opposition meeting yesterday, despite being invited!

The three MPs of the National People’s Force did not participate in today’s protest in Parliament demanding local government elections.

Anura Kumara Dissanayake Vijitha Herath and Dr. Harini Amarasuriya representing the National People’s Power Party were in the Parliament, but none of them were present in the House today.

Apart from this, even though they were invited to the opposition party leader’s meeting held at the opposition leader’s office yesterday, no NPP representative participated.
