SJB Parliamentarian Dr. Harsha De Silva has questioned President Ranil Wickremesinghe saying as to whether the IMF Staff Level Agreement has been given out to various individuals in committees appointed by him.

In a tweet, the MP said that if the IMF staff level agreement that has thus far been hidden even from the Sri Lanka Parliament Committee on Public Finance on purported Radio Silence has been given out, it is a serious breach

Previously, the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe told News 1st that after an IMF Staff Level Agreement is reached ‘Radio Silence’ is observed, adding that Sri Lanka does not have a practice of revealing such programs to parliament ahead of finalizing it.

Is it true @IMFNews staff level agreement that has thus far been hidden even from #SriLanka @ParliamentLK Commitee on Public Finance (on purported ‘radio silence’) has been given out to various individuals in committees appointed by @RW_UNP? If true, this is a serious breach. pic.twitter.com/9YUYKCmoxx
