Western Province Governor Hanif Yousuf has tendered his resignation from his post. However, he will continue to serve as the President’s Special Envoy on Foreign Investments and will also remain in office as Governor of the Western Province until a suitable successor is appointed.
He had informed the President of this decision several months ago, but was requested to continue in his position for the time being until a replacement is identified.
