Mr. Anura Mudalige, his brother, states that Wasantha Mudalige has been kept in a 7.4 feet iron cage for two days by the Terrorist Investigation Unit, and now his body has developed a wasting disease.
The ‘Lankasara’ website has also published the same video that he stated this while speaking to the media after going to check on Wasantha’s well-being.
He said that when asked the reasons for keeping Mez locked up like an animal, even the plumbers there were not aware of it.
Anu Mudalige also mentioned that the bath was a place with no sunlight, no ventilation and a foul smell.
He said that this skin disease was once shown to the doctors of Wasantha National Hospital, but the medicine was not given, saying that there was no provision. Then he gave more than ten thousand rupees and brought the medicine from outside. He said that the skin disease did not decrease.
