It is reported that a VIP patient was taken by helicopter under special security and admitted to the intensive care unit of the Colombo National Hospital in the morning and is being treated.

It is also said from the hospital sources that this special VIP was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital and admitted to the intensive care unit without keeping any records or notes apart from the procedures that are followed when a patient is admitted to the hospital.

It is also reported that a team of other specialist doctors have been brought from different hospitals to treat this patient without referring the doctors of the Colombo National Hospital.

The sources also say that even after the admission of the special dignitary to the hospital, special security has been provided by keeping security personnel in the hospital premises.

When we looked into the information regarding this special VIP, it was revealed that he is a former naval commander. –
