In a bid to further strengthen the diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Sri Lanka, a high-level meeting took place between the Vietnamese Ambassador and Minister K.D. Lalkantha at the Ministry.
The discussions primarily focused on technical consultations and training exchange programs aimed at enhancing the agricultural sector in both nations.
However, it is noteworthy that the Presidential Secretariat had previously issued a circular stating that ministers should coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs when meeting state officials and allocate a designated time for such engagements.
