Second-generation leader Uvindu Wijeweera has issued a statement regarding the anti-government rally scheduled to be held in Nugegoda next month. The event is being organized under the leadership of the United National Party, Pohottuwa, and several other opposition political parties, Sri Lanka Latest News reports.
In his remarks, Mr. Wijeweera questioned what alliances he could possibly have with a group that, according to him, is preparing to “go to Maha Ulugedara tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.”
