Government officials from the United States and India have held discussions on Sri Lanka in conjunction with the ASEAN Regional Forum in Cambodia.
This matter has been discussed in a discussion between the American Secretary of State Mr. Antony Blinken and the Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. S. Jaishankar.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a tweet that the discussion focused on the economic and political situation in Sri Lanka.
“Today I called on Indian Foreign Minister I met S. Jayashankar,’ he added.
At the start of an ASEAN meeting with Minister Ali Sabri, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Sri Lanka is in a moment of challenge and crisis, but there is an opportunity to create a more democratic and inclusive government.
