United National Party (UNP) Chairman Vajira Abeywardena has stated that the leadership of the UNP cannot be handed over, even if the party merges with the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB).
In an interview with Neth News, Abeywardena emphasized that any unrealistic demands regarding leadership in the merger process would only cause further delays.
