Sri Lanka’s Education Ministry has decided to declare Friday the 9th of December 2022 as a Special Holiday for all Government, and Government-funded schools.
The decision was made after consulting the Department of Meteorology, and the Disaster Management Center on the present weather situation, where heavy smog is experienced across many parts of the country.
