A group of unemployed graduates staged a protest in front of the Ministry of Education in Battaramulla this morning, according to Sri Lanka Latest News.
Our correspondent reported that a heated exchange took place between the protesters and the police during the demonstration.
Following the incident, the group proceeded to hold another protest in front of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) office in Pelawatte.
