Under whose pressure is the parliament’s communication department opposing Harsha?

Despite the strong efforts of government representatives to prevent my appointment, I became the chairman of the state finance committee. However, the communication department of the parliament is holding the announcement of my appointment which, create a questionable situation. Dr. Harsha de Silva stated.

In His face book note he raises the question Why parliament communication department do not communicate my appointment?

After a battle, I was re-appointed chairperson of the parliamentary finance committee. Some government representatives attempted to depose me, but the opposition eventually won in the end.

However, the parliamentary communication department has not communicated this appointment, which is a source of concern. Who is exerting influence or putting pressure on this? Is there still a powerful hand attempting to stop this? There are a few unresolved issues in this regard. Nonetheless, if no problems arise, as chairperson of the state finance committee, I promise to give my best.

Developing story: Communications department of @ParliamentLK is not issuing the statement of my appointment as Chair of CoPF. Giving various excuses. Who has the power to change the decision of @ParliamentLK? For who’s benefit? This will have to be settled in the morning. Sick. https://t.co/m2XtKXkgDd
