Mr. Percy Abeysekera is an alumnus of Galle Richmond, Aloysius and Baddegama Siri Ratanasara schools.
He got involved as an encourager of the Sri Lankan cricket team since 1979, and was popular among cricketers and sports fans with the name “Uncle Percy”.
He had become a well-known Sri Lankan to many senior cricketers from many countries.
