U.S. Donates Fourth Coast Guard Cutter to Strengthen Sri Lanka’s Maritime Security

The United States has donated a fourth U.S. Coast Guard cutter, the former USCGC Ex-Decisive, to the Sri Lankan Navy. The handover highlights growing U.S.–Sri Lanka defense cooperation and aims to strengthen maritime security and disaster-response capabilities in the region. Officials from both countries attended the ceremony, where documents finalizing the transfer were signed.
