Two Companies Owned by Millionaire Businessman Ravi Wijeratne Donate Rs. 50 Million to Rebuilding Sri Lanka Fund

The “Rebuilding Sri Lanka” Fund, established to restore the livelihoods of those affected by Cyclone Ditva and to support national recovery efforts, continues to receive daily contributions from local and international organizations, business leaders, and philanthropists.

In this regard, Senura Civil Engineering (Pvt) Ltd and Rank Container Terminal (Pvt) Ltd today (15) donated a total of Rs. 50 million to the fund. Of this amount, Rs. 25 million was contributed by Senura Civil Engineering (Pvt) Ltd, while Rs. 25 million was donated by Rank Container Terminal (Pvt) Ltd.

The donation cheques were formally handed over to the Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, at the Presidential Secretariat.

Representing the two institutions, Mr. Ravi Wijeratne, Mr. Shahen Wijeratne, and Mr. Shantha Ilangamudali were present at the event.
