A spokesperson said that three people, including a police officer, who were injured during the protest organized by the Inter-University Student Union, have been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.
The spokesperson said that a journalist and a university student were among the other injured.
The spokesman added that the three persons are receiving treatment in Ward No. 72.
