Latest News published on its front page the day before yesterday In Sunday Lankadeepa newspaper that four opposition members of parliament are going to join the government today after President Ranil Wickramasinghe’s speech.

On several occasions before this, Lankadeepa newspaper had published news that 20, 25 MPs from SJB are going to join the government.

But like today, no SJB MP joined the ruling party.

Lankadeepa newspaper is owned by the President’s uncle Ranjith Wijewardena and Cousin Ruwan Wijewardena.
