Three places in Vavuniya dug in search of tiger weapons and gold! Sri Lanka Latest News

Yesterday (12) the security forces of Vavuniya started excavation work at three places in Vavuniya Poovarasankulam Aluthkovilkulam area, based on information that the weapons and gold of Tiger members were buried. (Sri Lanka Latest News)

According to the information provided by a former member of the LTTE organization, the LTTE members maintained their camps at these three places during the war and when they left the camps and went to other places, they buried their weapons and gold in these places. have

According to a report submitted by the Poovarasankulam Police to the Vavuniya Magistrate Mr. Wasim Ahmed, a court order had been obtained to carry out excavation work at those places.

According to that, the magistrate also came to the place and archaeology officials, government officials and members of the security forces participated in the excavation work.

Excavation work has been started at these three sites using two backhoes and strict security has been applied to the area.
