Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna National Organizer Mr. Namal Rajapaksa said today (30) that some people who went to support Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe came to their homes before, after and this morning to show their support and they expected such expressions of support and discussions after the announcement of an election. Sri Lanka Latest News

Mr. Namal Rajapaksa said this while making a special statement to the media after participating in an event held in Colombo this morning (30).

Mr. Namal Rajapaksa said that although such things are special for young people, such things are normal for elders like my father, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, and he also mentioned that he is working to protect the political camps he represents.

He said that since the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna has been in the anti-UNP camp since its inception, it will continue to represent the historic opposition to the UNP and that there will be two parties, the anti-UNP and the UNP, in the presidential election.

Mr. Namal Rajapaksa further said that there is a deal with the public because there is no grandpa politics in the presidential election and it seems that some people are ready to use this opportunity as an opportunity to collect preferences.
