To disclose all the information to the country with evidence of large-scale fraud and corruption in the cricket establishment, to face President Ranil Wickramasinghe in the parliamentary session and give direct answers and to submit a proposal to the Parliament that the civic rights of the Rajapaksa’s, who were confirmed by the Supreme Court as having bankrupted the country, should be abolished. After the three incidents that the country talked about, it has been seen how they have taken to launch an organized attack against the opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa and to give a lot of publicity for it through the media. Accordingly, for the past few days, the representatives of the ruling party have taken steps to attack Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition, saying that there has been a huge misuse of money in the cultural fund.
Here, the opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa said in Parliament that after Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa assumed the presidency, former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa appointed a committee headed by Mr. Harigupta Rohanadhira, Gotabhaya Jayaratne and Gamini Sarath Edirisinghe to investigate corruption and fraud irregularities in the cultural fund, and although they submitted a report None of them have been signed.
Later, the opposition leader stated that he filed a complaint against him before the Bribery Commission based on this unsigned report and said that the Bribery Commission has informed that it will not proceed further as there is not enough evidence and facts to deal with the complaint. The opposition leader also tabled the letter issued by the Bribery Commission in this regard.

2. I would like to kindly inform you that the Commission has decided not to take any further action regarding the BC/1528/2014 file which has been inquired about, as sufficient facts were not disclosed to act under the Bribery Act.

After the Bribery Commission issued this statement, retired High Court Judge Wasantha Jinadasa, retired Administrative Officer W.G. Gunapala and retired officer of Sri Lanka Accountancy Service M.B. Weerakoon. The opposition leader said that even though another investigation was conducted under the initiative of Weerakoon etc., no allegations were made against the former culture minister in that report, and because of that, the relevant report was not disclosed.
In addition to this, Mr. Sajith Premadasa, who said that an audit report has been prepared in this regard, also emphasized that there is no record of any financial irregularities.
Accordingly, Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition, pointed out that this is only organized false propaganda aimed at destroying his character and proceeded to submit all related documents to the table.
Regarding the organized false propaganda aimed at the opposition leader, Sajaba General Secretary Mr. Ranjith Maddumabandara said that by exposing the information about cricket scams to the country, creating a crisis within the government, confronting the President in the Parliament and taking a resolution to abolish civic rights against the Rajapaksa who bankrupted the country. Based on the following facts, the government has targeted the opposition leader and made false accusations.
