Response  to the mudslinging of Sajith by the -UNP -JVP and the media!

There were numerous allegations of fraud and corruption in the Cultural Fund during the tenure of the current opposition leader, Mr. Sajith Premadasa, as Housing Minister.

The United National Party, led by President Ranil Wickramasinghe, Pohottuwa, led by Mahinda Rajapaksa, and Janata Vimukti Peramuna, led by Anura Kumara Dissanayake, in particular, have repeatedly accused Mr. Sajith Premadasa of being responsible for these frauds and corruptions.

They had accused Mr. Sajith Premadasa of this on numerous occasions.

However, at today’s (25) COPE committee meeting, there was a special discussion about the cultural fund.

Mr. Sajith Premadasa was found not to be involved in any such corruption.

In particular, the Bribery Commission stated in a letter that nothing happened in the cultural fund with the intention of filing a lawsuit.
