On Thursday, the Sri Lankan rupee closed at 302.00/40 against the US dollar in the spot market, while bond yields were lower, according to dealers.
A bond maturing on September 1, 2027, closed at 26.55/65 percent, unchanged from Wednesday’s close of 26.85/27.00 percent.
The Sri Lanka rupee strengthened against the US dollar in the spot market on Thursday, closing at 302.00/40 rupees, up from its previous close of 303.50/304.20 rupees.
