Mr. Shan Vijayalal De Silva, Member of Parliament, said that they have discussed contesting this year’s local government election under the banner of the People’s Freedom Alliance, which represents many parties.
He points out that all related activities are currently underway.

We have many groups competing, including the MP’s Uthukama Organization, Dravida and Muslim parties. It has already been decided to run for the next local government election under the name of the People’s Freedom Alliance under the new name of the lamp symbol.
