NASA has found that the lowest gravity on Earth is at the southern tip of Sri Lanka in the Sea of Sri Lanka region.
It is the result of an investigation carried out by NASA for many years.
🔺 What is this test conducted by NASA?
The discovery was made as a result of NASA’s Operation GRACE study of gravitational variations over many years.
The American Aeronautics and Space Administration, or NASA, is the world’s leading research organization in various fields since 1958.
According to their research, the weight of tourists coming to Sri Lanka is less than that of tourists in Turkey.
This discovery is based on the satellite data obtained about the density of water in different places of the world.
Are there other places in the world with low gravity?
According to NASA, apart from the southern part of Sri Lanka, the places with the lowest gravity in the world include the Indian Ocean east of the Maldives and northern Canada near the Hudson Bay.
🔺 How do you feel the difference in the reduction of gravity in Sri Lanka?
According to the latest study, if a person in New Zealand weighs 68 kg, if he comes to the southern part of Sri Lanka, his weight will be 65 kg.
Accordingly, his weight loss is 3 kg.
🔺 What is the reason for this difference?
According to NASA findings, the density of the Earth’s crust and the density of lava are the reason for this difference.
Among the places with the highest gravity are Bolivia, the northern Andes mountains.
NASA points out that these conditions will change depending on changes in lava flow and changes in the Earth’s crust.
