Mr. Namal Rajapaksa said that it is the belief of the Podujana Peramuna that even though the necessary decisions must be made to build the economy of the country, those decisions should become populist decisions and he also mentioned that the facts regarding such decisions should be explained to the people.
The MP further said that although debt restructuring should be done, it should be done in a fair manner and the reasons why restructuring should be done for a certain group and not for another group should be explained.
