Mr. Sanath Jayantha Ediriweera, a former senior official of the Sri Lankan Administrative Service, and 06 others have been appointed as the new chairman and the members of the Public Service Commission.
Approving the recommendations of the Constitutional Council, President Ranil Wickramasinghe has made the relevant appointments.
The other members of the Public Service Commission appointed by the President under the chairmanship of Mr. Sanath Jayantha are M. Sitthi Marina Mohammed, Narasimha Herath Mudianselage Chithrananda, Prof. Naganathan Selvakkumaran, Manikka Badathuruge Rohana Pushpakumara, Dr. Angampodi Damita Nandani de Soyza, Ranjini Nadarajapillai and Pallegama Chandraratne Pallegama.
