It is said that the expenditure estimate presented by the police department for allowances, fuel expenses, vehicle rental, telephone and other communication facilities has increased by six times compared to the estimate presented for the last election.
Car rental costs have increased from 138 million to 745 million. The cost of fuel has increased from 108 to 675 million rupees.
The Election Commission alleges that the Election Commission has prepared a separate cost estimate for the expected expenses for the related services and the estimate sent by the Police Department is unbelievable.
