The Chairman of the Parliament Sectoral Oversight Committee on National Security Mr. Sarath Weerasekera says that the committee does not recommend the privatization of Sri Lanka Telecom.
He said that by privatizing the telecom company, the report revealed that sensitive information related to national security will be exposed to profit-based private companies.
MP Sarath Weerasekera said this while presenting the relevant report to Parliament today.
