The New Zealand High Commissioner meets the opposition leader Mr Sajith Premadasa
A meeting between the opposition leader Mr Sajith Premadasa and the New Zealand High Commissioner Mr Michael Appleton (04) took place at the office of the opposition leader.
The High Commissioner of New Zealand met Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition before he finished his service in Sri Lanka and there was a long discussion between the two parties regarding the current social, economic and political situation in Sri Lanka.
There, Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition, explained the excessive taxes imposed by the current government by oppressing the people, and Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition informed the New Zealand High Commissioner about how to increase the state revenue without imposing taxes.
