A news of a magistrate being locked up in a modern two-storied house and his official car being stolen was reported from Piliyandala, Madapata area.
A person who came to buy his house on rental basis has taken the car and locked the magistrate in a house.
A magistrate has published an advertisement on a popular website to rent his modern style two-storey luxury house in Piliyandala Madapata area to the rental base and according to that a person came to see the house yesterday.
Accordingly, the Magistrate has come in his luxury car to show the house located in Piliyandala Madapata area to the buyer.
However, while the magistrate was showing the house, the concerned person locked the magistrate upstairs and closed the door and fled with the magistrate’s luxury car.
It is reported that due to the fact that the magistrate kept the car key on the lower floor, the person was able to escape with the car.
The person in question was seen fleeing with the magistrate’s car in the CCTV footage.
However, the magistrate, who jumped out of the upper floor window where he was imprisoned, has informed the police about this.
Later, during the investigation conducted by the police, it was revealed that the suspect had reached the house in a hired three-wheeler.
