Modarawane Amila Siri Thero, the Patron of the centre said that he is in a lot of trouble due to the disconnection of electricity due to the non-payment of an electricity bill of nearly 177,000.

He said that a large amount of money has been added to the electricity bill due to the addition of a three-month electricity bill and this situation has arisen because this place did not receive donations and financial support due to the economic difficulties faced by the contributors in the past.

He said that this problematic situation has increased because there has been a technical fault in the solar generation system in the centre, where the elderly monks who are blind, deaf and suffering from various diseases are living and working in this place. .

Amilasiri Thero also says that because this place is not a place that generates money, they have to face a lot of inconveniences.

From the date of the power cut until now, three monks have been missing and funerals have been conducted amid severe difficulties. He said that he disconnected and left.
