A 39-year-old man was killed in a shooting incident in Seeduwa, Kotugoda, Galiganeliya area this morning.
The police said that the gunman had fired about 11 shots at the person in the conflict.
The shooting took place around 7 am today.
The target of the shooters was a man who had come to pick up his breakfast.
The police said that the person who came on a motorcycle to a place selling green porridge in the area was chased by two people who came on another motorcycle and fled.
The shooting was captured on a nearby security camera.
