According to reports, the government has undertaken a big campaign to win the support of some opposition members for its plan to form a parliamentary selection committee as a last-ditch effort to delay the conducting of local government elections.

Accordingly, it has come to light that various opposition members have received several messages from the government during the previous few days.

It has been instructed in these messages to coerce the party leaders into accepting this idea.

In addition, it is said that the administration has received these messages from Samagi Jana Balawegaya, Janata Vimukthi Peramuna, and Tamil National Alliance.

We have all the information regarding the opposition lawmakers who got these messages, and we are prepared to expose their names and hometowns following the discussion on Tuesday.
